LTO Battery Materials

Providing lithium-ion anodes that are safe, secure and high-capacity

Lithium titanate oxide (LTO) is used in lithium-ion batteries as an anode, due to its low volume change from insertion/extraction of Li+ and vastly superior cycle characteristics.
In addition, it has a high electric potential of approximately 1.55V, reducing deposition of lithium metal for better safety and is also able to rapidly charge/discharge.
LTO batteries promise to be useful in a variety of products – in larger scales such as in cars, trains, industrial equipment and UPS, or in smaller scales such as wearable devices.
Beyond that, we are developing battery materials besides LTO.
