- Company established. Manufacturing of aluminium fluoride begins at our Amagasaki plant.
- 1942
- Construction of Sakai plant completed, manufacturing aluminium fluoride.
- 1945
- Manufacturing of selenium begins at Amagasaki plant.
- 1953
- Construction of Osaka plant completed.
- 1958
- Becomes first company to begin industrial production of vanadium pentoxide in Japan.
- 1970
- Becomes first company to begin industrial production of catalysts (VOCl3) for ethylene propylene rubber in Japan.
- 1973
- Construction of Sakai Coastal plant completed, greatly increasing vanadium manufacturing capabilities.
- 1981
- Amagasaki plant moved to Ohamacho, Amagasaki, greatly increasing high purity selenium and selenium compound manufacturing capabilities.
- 1991
- Improved manufacturing facilities for production of ethylene propylene rubber catalysts (VOCl3) at Sakai Coastal plant.
- 1997
- Company begins manufacturing of indium at Amagasaki plant and manufacturing of chloride products at Sakai Coastal plant.
- 1998
- Headquarters and Sakai Coastal plant receive ISO 9002 certification.
- 2003
- Headquarters and Sakai Coastal plant receive ISO 9001 certification.
- 2006
- Company receives ISO 14001 certification.
- 2007
- Fine Chemical Division 2 and Amagasaki plant receive ISO9001 certification.
- 2008
- Headquarters moved to Chuo-ku, Osaka.
- 2011
- Increased manufacturing capability of high purity selenium at Amagasaki plant.
- 2012
- Improved manufacturing facilities for production of tellurium at Amagasaki plant.
- 2013
- Further improved manufacturing capability of ethylene propylene rubber catalysts (VOCl3) at Sakai Coastal plant.
- 2016
- Company expands manufacturing capability of vanadium acetylacetonate (V(AcAc)3) at Sakai Coastal plant.
Development of lithium titanate (material for battery anodes) started at Sakai Coastal plant. - 2018
- Manufacturing of indium at Amagasaki plant ends after 21 years.
- 2020
- Company begins manufacturing vanadium at Amagasaki plant and manufacturing test of lithium titanate at Sakai Coastal plant.
- 2021
- Headquarters moved to Phoenix Minamisemba, 2-1-3 Minamisemba, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
